The Human Body is Mostly Water:
The human body is 70% water. All biological functions of the body require water, to include digestion, circulation, absorption, and cleansing. Water is required to maintain the blood and lymphatic system, kidney function, bowels, and healthy skin and muscles. Medical professionals and scientists agree that human daily water intake should be 8 or more glasses, and if we drink less than this, we can suffer from dehydration (Barron, Jon, 2005, November 11.
Magnets and Health:
Our physique is profoundly responsive to electromagnetic fields. Earth has a a north and south pole. Magnets and magnetism are used in the medical field in both diagnostic tools (MRI scanners) and in treatment (pulsed electromagnets/pulsars). Other treatment tools are pads and mattresses with built-in magnets. MRI imaging can distinguish between healthy and diseased tissue, while pulsars and magnetic pads and mattresses can help relieve symptoms like migraine headaches, insomnia, and even depression (Larsen, H.R., 1998, November).
Water Can Be Magnetized:
Water is both dipolar and paramagnetic, and holds a magnetic charge. The dipolar water molecules have opposite electrical charges, which tend to attract each other and gather into structures of 14, 17, 21, 196, 280, or more molecules. Researchers found that water can be magnetized and given special properties. Other researchers found that long-term exposure from drinking magnetically-treated water can affect the human body in many beneficial ways (Shimadry, Debbie, 2007, June 28).
The Benefits of Magnetized Water:
Many claims have been made about the health benefits of consuming magnetized water. It is said to be energy- building, activating, cleansing and detoxifying. There are reports that patients were relieved of bladder-problems,
recovered more quickly after a stroke, helped relieve their arthritis, and lowered their blood-pressure by drinking magnetized water (Shimadry, Debbie, 2007, June 28).
Altogether, magnetized water offers many good qualities (Shimadry, Debbie, 2007, June 28):
– Has sweeter taste and more clarity.
– Promotes a more alkaline pH in the body and has a revitalizing energetic effect.
– Encourages healing of wounds and burns.
– Has a therapeutic effect on the digestive, nervous, and urinary systems.
– Can be beneficial for fevers, sore throat, and menstrual issues/menopause discomfort. – Provides positive effect on the autonomic nervous system.
– Can help regulate the heart function and clear clogged arteries.
– Has been shown as beneficial for kidney ailments, gout, obesity, and premature aging. – Is useful for pain-management.
– Infuses the body with energy, helps controls bacteria, and stimulates brain function.
Though clinical trials have yet to be performed on the health benefits of magnetized water in USA, this has not stopped its acceptance in countries like Russia. Doctors and scientists in Russia have embraced magnetized water and tested it on patients. Russia was first to create the Organic food concept over 40 years ago and only today is Organic now becoming mainstream in USA. In France, and the U.S.A, among others, they are using magnetized water in alternative medicine. Outside of medicine, it has been used in agriculture in Russia and Israel, where increased agricultural yields were realized, and it was found to be useful to reduce scale in boiler systems. Unfortunately, government and industry supporting pesticides and fertilizers have been active to slow the realize of magnetic water and the potential benefits of magnetic water. There has yet to be a large-scale movement to accept it (Life Sources, Inc., 2003). However as information and technology speed up communication, and exchange of information moving forward these delays will become near impossible to keep in the dark, so to speak. It is therefore conceivable products such as Magnetized water and knowledge of it, and benefits of organic foods will become known to all, and more main stream.
